Your ability is fixed at ten years. Your babyhood has a lot to do with it. Excellent memory is always short on creativity ability.

Almond, walnuts, fish, milk are considered to be brain food. Just as the first person that helps.

Another way to do is to write them down and keep on writing them down. When i was younger i hated doing homework because it took a long time for me. What i did was i wrote out all the multiplication of 1 through 10 up to 10, even though my class was only doing it till 5. I spent about 4 hours doing this. I kept on repeating those tables. After four hours when i thought i knew them well, i went to do my dad and asked him to ask me any multiplcation result between 1-10. Did the same thing with my mom. By the end of it i was pretty sure about my multiplications. Rather than using calculators or spending 40 minutes on homework it only took me 10 minutes and gave me more playing time. Key is you have to concentrate and keep on repeating it, don't memorise them understand how they work.

As for vocab, same thing, write it down. Write the meaning. Make a sentence in the original language. Translate that sentence into the language you feel comfortable with. Translat the word as well. This requires more work than math. A second way is to read books. Third watch cartoons, wouldn't recommend films or tv shows if you are starting. Cartoons/anime use simpler language and speak in a clear easy tone.

For division, if you know how to multiply just change the signs and you get your answers with some practise. The important thing is not to grab a calculator but do everything by hand with a pencil and paper.

The latest buzz on that one seems to be Omega 3 Salmon oil capsules. Takes awhile. Try doing crossword puzzles and sodoku puzzles. Read, stay informed and engage in good conversations with as many people as you can ... listening is the best. Research as well. Always best to be able to back up your answers with tangible evidence.

Eat as much organic, non-processed food as you can. Also, doing little mind exercises such as saying the alphabet backwards, skipping numbers by 3's, (or any given number), and reading as much as possible work.

Soak 5-7 almonds in warm water overnight, and then eat them in the morning after taking skin out. This will help your memory. Indians do this practice from the time a child is very young until adulthood. Or have almond milk. God bless.
